Event guidelines:
Most events are designed around vehicles lining up and entering into a judging area.
MAGP requires the vehicles to be displayed for the public to view with a panel of 6 carefully chosen judges going to each vehicle. The judges selected need to cover the three sections, that being two judges for installation cosmetics and vehicle exterior and interior. These judges are typically from the spray painting /panel shop
industry. The next two will need to take care of the acoustic category and finally the last two will cover the electrical. All the events are required to be indoors and have a roaming
DJ and roaming cameraman, who transmits wirelessly to big screens as each vehicle is being judged, thus hyping up the crowd and keeping all participants and public informed.
The recommended trophy award structure should be as follows
1. Overall first and second per division
2. An overall winner can only be awarded if the SPL is deducted from the
highest points scorers in each division. The vehicle with the remaining
highest points will be the OVERALL WINNER.
3. Overall for best RTA curve and possibly best curve for each division
4. Highest SPL in each division
5. Overall SPL can be achieved only when the top 3 cars compete in an
elimination round
6. The highest points trophy for the best presented vehicle, per
division and overall, can be attained by establishing the highest points
scored in the vehicle presentation section
